Members of SAA affectionately refer to the book "Sex Addicts Anonymous" as the "Green Book".

The Green Book is the basic text of the fellowship of Sex Addicts Anonymous. It has helped large numbers of sex addicts, young and old, recover.

The first hundred pages of Sex Addicts Anonymous describe the 12 Step programme of recovery, and the remainder of the book contains personal stories of recovery from sexual addiction.

The Green Book is to Sex Addicts Anonymous, in the same ways as The Big Book is to the original 12-Step programme of recovery, Alcoholics Anonymous.
